To reduce contagion rates, companies that resume activities must comply with the PREVENTION AND CONTROL GUIDELINES AGAINST THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 IN THE EXECUTION OF CONSTRUCTION WORKS

All companies must prepare the PLAN FOR THE SURVEILLANCE, PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF COVID-19 AT WORK,which must be submitted to the Occupational Safety and Health Committee or Supervisor for approval within a maximum period of 48 hours.

You must register the plan in the Integrated System fo COVID-19 (SICOVID-19),you must submit the plan by virtual party table. The plan will be accessible to inspection entities such as SUSALUD or SUNAFIL for verification of its compliance. for verification of its compliance.

It is essential to, take care of the health of the workers on the job site, and a protocol should be drwn up with measures to be implemented before, during and after the start of the work.

The site resident is responsible for ensuring the execution of the guideline. The supervisor and health professional is responsible for enforcing the guidelines.​​

Should be enable places of prevention and control on site,for the access of people, you must first go through the Prior Control,then through the disinfection; then the Changing Rooms and finally they will enter the Work Zone.​

  • Prior Control,when entering and leaving any construction site, a discard evaluation must be carried out, which consists of temperature control (laser or infrared thermometer), pulse oximetry and verification of the absence of symptoms. Each person who enters or rejoins to work at the work, must sign the COVID-19 sumptomatology file.

The stock of cleaning products and protective equipment will also have to be guaranteed, and compliance with respiratory, hand and enviromentalhygiene must be constantly supervised.

For acces to supplies, equipment and materials, differentiated areas will be set up; a) unloading and cleaning,y b) storage, the transfer must be through an independent route with restricted access. All documentation must wait 24 hours prior ro use on the job site.

Workers will have to respect a distance of 1.5 meters during their work, as well when entering and leaving the work; The areas of the facilities must have up to 50% of their maximum capacity and, if necessary, staggered work shifts will be scheduled

The food must be through a supplier that complies with sanitary measures, since workers will not be able to leave the work during working hours.

Maximum capacity should be established in common areas, set shifts for staff breaks, plan activities by forming brigades to maintain a safe distance, and limit activities with a higher probability of contagion.

The health professional of the work must identify personnel with risk factors and offer them a differentiated treatment.

Most young people are asymptomatic, preventing the real number of infections from being detected; Anyone who does not follow health and safety protocols should be removed from work immediately

If a positive case of COVID19, the work must be immediately stopped and health authority notified,while the areas where the person has been in the last 72 hours are disinfected.
